Winning a multi-million pound contract through ICE technology

Strive were commissioned by a global construction client to create interactive experiences with the goal of aiding them in their bidding process.

The aim of the project was to allow the client the freedom and capability to showcase a fully fleshed out design scheme, incorporating key design elements with realistic fit and finishes. The client required a selection of interactive elements within the software. These included the construction and engineering details in one of the large private areas being displayed, clicking on the ceiling tiles removed the ceiling and revealed the M&E. Other examples where hiding kitchen elements to show proposed fixture layouts and an interactive wall in one of the private meeting rooms which exposed wall construction and audio and visual setup behind the wall. ICE’s ability to be a fully bespoke experience made it the only software for this kind of project.

We were provided with full architectural, construction and engineering plans along with a full interior design document which enabled us to recreate the scheme to the smallest detail bringing the clients vision to life.

The final application was developed to be run on desktop with the use of a games control pad or mouse and keyboard. The project proved hugely successful assisting in a multi-million pound contract win.
